Seated by the window, we had a great view of the tugs guiding the ships up the Yarra, past the restaurant and out to sea. We enjoyed the friendly service and the food though the spaghetti dish was a tad overcooked. The place was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday lunch service ... perhaps the $14 lunch special was the drawcard. Clever marketing!
View from the other side of the river
Tapas Platter - Oysters natural, chargrilled spiced chicken, chorizo in tomato, capsicum and paprika sauce, whitebait, calamari with citrus aioli
Crispy skinned barramundi served on a bed of mash with broccolini & a capsicum sauce
Seafood spaghetti - grilled king prawn, Spring Bay mussels, Moreton Bay bug, calamari, garlic, chilli, basil & white wine
Baked cheese cake, mixed berry compote & chantilly cream
Meal complete, weather now stormy, next stop Prahran Market to complete the outing!
